SRX10035272: RNA-seq of Yangtze finless porpoise:male blood
1 BGISEQ (BGISEQ-500) run: 62.3M spots, 6.2G bases, 3.4Gb downloads

Design: The final library was amplified with phi29 to make DNA nanoball (DNB) which had more than 300 copies of one molecular, DNBs were loaded into the patterned nanoarray and single end 50 bases reads were generated on BGIseq505 platform
Submitted by: Shanghai Ocean University
Study: Yangtze finless porpoise blood sequencing

The Yangtze finless porpoise (Neophocaena asiaeorientalis asiaeorientalis) has attracted much attention because of the dramatic decline in population size in the past decades, which raises the concern of extinction. Exploring immune changes that occur in Yangtze finless porpoise with age is important for their protection. Here, we systematically investigated the mRNA and miRNA profiles of old, adult, and young Yangtze finless porpoises to screen for genes, pathways, and predicted miRNA-mRNA networks associated with immune system.
